The reason I decided to enroll IUJ's E-Business Management Program was because I wanted to reinforce my IT knowledge and learn how IT influences businesses. The E-Biz Program provided me with a lot of knowledge about IT from both the technical and business points of view and it perfectly met my needs. In addition, it further enhanced my English ability because all the classes were conducted in English. When I came to IUJ, I was actually surprised by a richer international environment than I expected. It was also attractive for me that the program would take only one year and be conducted in Japan because I have a young boy, who was in fourth grade at elementary school at that time.

IUJ provides quite practical classes which focus on group work such as group discussions and group presentations. I keenly felt both the enjoyment and difficulty of working with people of different nationalities and with different experiences to find solutions that all group members can support. Now, in my work, I often make presentations in front of executives and frequently communicate with foreign colleagues such as Italians, Indians and Chinese. These experiences reinforce to me how valuable my experience at IUJ is and how IUJ provided practical classes for me.

I took a lot of classes mainly to learn the technologies of the Internet and mobile devices and the interactions among these technologies and businesses in order to develop my future career. At that time, the emergence of the Internet was changing business styles everywhere. Therefore, I wanted to learn the role it would play in future business developments. I am currently working in an IT department as a manager, and I have had few chances to directly apply the knowledge I acquired at IUJ. I can discuss many things, however, with my top executives because I have learned how IT technologies can have a great impact on business activities and greatly benefits companies.

I would like to tell you one more thing; Beautiful and fantastic nature surrounds IUJ. Some people who get accustomed to urban life may be bored to some extent. It still remains, however, etched into not only my mind but also my son's memory as a fantastic experience. He often says that he really enjoyed his life in Minami Uonuma city (former Yamato-machi). I hope that you enjoy the beautiful scenery that changes with each season and especially the heavy snow in winter.

If you are interest in IUJ, I strongly recommend that you attend the E-Biz Program at IUJ because you can make yourself better in this favorable learning environment and you can benefit from that change when you graduate.

Coming to Japan to do my master's degree was not something I'd imagined myself doing, so to be able to do so on a scholarship was like a dream come true for me. Being at IUJ itself has not only enriched my experience but broadened my perspectives in many areas. I've learnt many things, not just in the classroom but also through interactions with fellow students and the local community.

The Master in E-Business Management Program was particularly intensive but taught me many valuable lessons which could not be gained elsewhere. The E-Biz Program's integration with MBA courses, the dedication of the teaching faculty and exposure to doing projects with real-life companies have all made studying at IUJ a worthwhile investment.

Even though I may not remember all the terms and jargon studied throughout my courses, the skill sets and thinking processes learnt at IUJ have indirectly helped me at my workplace. Combined with my previous working experience, the life lessons gained in graduate school have equipped me to handle and juggle both technical and managerial responsibilities. It has only been a short span of time, but I would never have had the opportunity to appreciate all these had I not chosen to further my studies at IUJ.

Many of my friends ask why I decided to do my Master's at IUJ. I always tell them that there are a lot of things at IUJ that you cannot discover at other universities. IUJ is an international mini-country, which helps you learn in a completely different atmosphere. After returning back to Azerbaijan I have shared my knowledge with people who want to start businesses in the electronic world. To people who want to get their Master's degree abroad, I always tell them that if they want to obtain advanced knowledge and develop an international network of friends, IUJ is the right place to come.
