Message from Alumni
The experience, knowledge, and human network that I earned at IUJ have helped me to expand my business.

MBA Class of 1998
President,
Hakkai Creates Co., Ltd.
The 2 years that I spent at IUJ passed in less than no time, but at the same time, it is the most meaningful 2 years of my life. The curriculum at IUJ is based on top business schools in the USA with faculty from all over the world, in addition to its extremely diverse student body. The common language at IUJ is English, but dozens of languages are spoken on campus. In such an environment, all the courses that I took were tremendously helpful. The experience I gained from working with all those students from all over the world is priceless.
After my graduation from IUJ, I entered my father's company and became the president three years later. Then, I established a factory in Thailand, which is our first foreign investment. Gradually, my company has been taking steps into international markets. The experience, knowledge, and human network that I earned at IUJ have helped me to expand my business.
All these priceless properties will be necessary for the growth of my business. However, these properties are not only for business. Human relationships and friendships from IUJ made my eyes open to the world and made my character rich. If you would like to be in touch with the "World" in all ways in your life, IUJ is the best choice for you.
IUJ has helped me realize my dream of getting into one of the biggest investment banks of the world.

I was an engineer working in an oil refinery before IUJ. An MBA was always in my mind and most particularly after working for 4 years I realized that my ambitions were not going to be filled with only my engineering degree.
Getting a generous scholarship was one of the main reasons to choose IUJ over others. But now I can say that the whole IUJ experience itself is better than any other B-schools of the world can give. IUJ has helped me realize my dream of getting into one of the biggest investment banks of the world. It has laid in front of me the path where I always wanted to go. This is the most important reason that I recommend IUJ to everyone.
The industry I came from (the oil industry) and the industry I am in right now (the finance industry) are completely different worlds. Without an MBA in finance this would not be possible.
By exposing myself to those future leaders, I am convinced that I will be a successful leader too.

For MBA study, I had 3 major objectives:
- to acquire comprehensive knowledge of international business management;
- to cultivate human skills, such as leadership in an international context; and
- to expand international human network which lasts for lifetime.
To accomplish these, I needed the professional MBA program taught in English with international environment. Honestly speaking, I did not expect that there was Japanese business school to fulfill my requirements. Thanks to my sponsor company's recommendations, however, I got to know there was one in Japan. That was IUJ.
I started checking IUJ's websites and contracted alumni for first hand information. The more I dicovered about IUJ, the more I was convinced that IUJ was the school for me.
Once you step into the IUJ campus, you see a different world than that outside, and do not even feel you are in Japan. IUJ has about 50 different nationalities. They all have different professional backgrounds.
As students from the host country, we Japanese students felt the responsibility to contribute to this international community, and proactively initiated or interacted with a majority of the foreign students. By doing so, I broadened my perspectives and gained optimal opportunities to achieve my career objectives.
Our classmates were so dynamic, and had ambitions and potential. By exposing myself to those future leaders, I am convinced that I will be a successful leader, too. So, I'm very happy to say that my decision to choose this Japan-based business school was truly right. After 2 years spent here, I can declare so with no doubt.
