Students
are in class several hours a day, five days a week. Many more
hours daily are devoted to study. The academic workload is
extremely challenging and demanding.
Extracurricular
Activities
Extracurricular activities include the opportunity to participate
in the Graduate Student Organization (GSO), representing student
interests in non-academic matters. Weekends may be spent by
participating in local community events and activities. The
splendid natural setting of the IUJ campus and the rich
traditions of rural community offers many opportunities to
explore the Japanese culture and the beautiful outdoors.
Sports
Facilities
In addition, the IUJ sports facilities allow students to
participate in a wide range of athletic activities including
basketball, volleyball, soccer, training, aerobics, karate, table
tennis and softball.
Global
Community
IUJ's multi-culture orientation provides students an exceptional
opportunity to mix with and learn from each other. IUJ students
bring home with them new perspectives along with joyful memories
of events they participated in around the campus and local
communities.
