Around the World at IUJ 2009 On Saturday, November 14, IUJ's revamped event, "Around the World at IUJ" was held. In this new event, local community enjoyed IUJ campus and students in a more interactive and dynamic way. Attractions included various crafts, games and dances led by students from some of the over 40 countries represented on campus. This movie was filmed and edited by an MBA student from Thailand, Mr. Patchara Udomsartporn. International Festival (IUJ Open Day) 2009 On Saturday, May 23, 2009, an "International Festival" was held as a spring event for the first time. The event attracted thousands of visitors who enjoyed world cuisines and traditional dances by IUJ students as well as Japanese foods and traditional performances by the people of Minami Uonuma City and surrounding areas. The visitors, especially small children, also enjoyed being outside playing in the fields until the end of the event on a fine spring day. One happy visitor equipped, "It was like taking a trip around the world!" International Festival (IUJ Open Day) 2008 On Saturday, November 8, 2008, IUJ and Minami Uonuma City co-sponsored an "International Festival" for the second time and attracted 2,500 visitors who enjoyed world cuisines and traditional dances by IUJ students as well as local specialty goods and Japanese traditional performances put on by the people of the City and surrounding areas. International Festival (IUJ Open Day) 2007 The IUJ Open Day 2007 was held as "International Festival" to celebrate the 25th Anniversary of IUJ, and express our appreciation to all who support the IUJ community including local people around Minami Uonuma city and Uonuma city. The video includes a message from IUJ's founder, descriptions of the campus 25 years ago and today, student comments, campus and classroom life, etc., in a 7 minutes 30 second presentation.
