The Office of Student Services (OSS) handles non-academic matters for IUJ Students. We are ready to assist IUJ students between the hours of
8:30am and 5:00pm, Monday through Friday.
Visa & Immigration
Student visas, visa extensions, work permits, re-entry permits- IUJ can serve as an agent to help you obtain these items. We can provide information only on spouse visas and work visas.
Career Counseling
CC&S offers a full-range of career services to IUJ students and alumni.
Dormitories & Facilities
The OSS works with Housekeeping and General Affairs for issues relating to the dormitories.
Campus Life & Events
OSS handles various non-academic matters of students. This includes support for living in Japan, counseling needs (including cases of sexual harrassment between students - see SH Procedures link), off-campus and on-campus events (in cooperation with IUJ students). Living in Japan

Traveling & Schedules
Bus and train schedules, student discounts on travel, hotel information, Urasa map, Yamato-machi homepage, Tokyo restaurants, Niigata weather, etc.
Driving & Car Concerns
Special licensing and insurance is required for many non-Japanese nationals. Purchasing cars and registering them with IUJ to park legally on campus requires the assistance of the OSS. The OSS is the contact office for the police when an IUJ student is involved in an accident or traffic violation.
